at IMMUNOLOGY 2009
ONSITE and ONLINE

Onsite Career Center

Onsite career services will be available all week in the Career Center located in Exhibit Hall 4ABC. The Career Center will be open 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Saturday, May 9, 2009, through Monday, May 11, 2009. These services are provided by the FASEB Career Center.

SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • One-on-one resumé critiques and career counseling services by resumé/CV experts (Saturday, May 9 through Monday, May 11). Sign-up for appointments onsite at the meeting beginning Saturday morning, May 9.
     
  • Virtual Career Fair for IMMUNOLOGY 2009™ from April 24 - May 12, 2009. The Virtual Career Fair site will be available 24-hours a day via the Internet at http://www.faseb.org/careers/immunology2009/ -- see further details BELOW.
     
  • Career Development Seminars offered by dynamic and knowledgeable career development experts. These seminars will be presented in Room 605 of the Washington State Convention and Trade Center (Saturday, May 9 through Monday, May 11).

This service is FREE for candidates/job seekers:

  • Post your resumé and candidate qualifications online 
     
  • Search employer job listings; send/receive electronic messages; and request interviews with employers

Employers:

Employers interested in posting employment opportunities online and/or at the meeting, please note the following:
  • Beginning April 24, 2009, employers can register an unlimited number of employment opportunities online. There is a $250 registration fee, which includes:
     
    ▪  access to job candidates' resumés/CVs;
    ▪  opportunity to exchange electronic messages with candidates;
    ▪  and the opportunity to request and schedule interviews. (NOTE: Position listings will remain active online for a period of 30 days beginning with the posting date.)
     
  • Employers may also elect to display their employment opportunities during the week of the meeting as "No Interviews" postings. To arrange this, contact Carol Bieschke no later than May 1, 2009 (email: cbieschke@faseb.org; phone: 301-634-7021). Please note that the fee for a "No Interview" posting is $100 per position posted and does not include online/internet posting, interview scheduling features, or access to the database of job seekers' profiles.
